Rudden's Electric and Natural Gas Cost of Service Models Unique to Rudden is our proprietary PC-based unbundled Cost of Service Study Model. This model has been developed by Rudden to meet the needs of gas and electric utilities for improved cost analyses information to facilitate the unbundling of supply and delivery services and products in a competitive environment. The model produces results which: a) meet regulatory requirements for fully distributed costing; b) unbundle utility operations into stand-alone competitive products; and c) help to evaluate profitability of special pricing proposals. It uses Microsoft EXCEL and is available for both electric and gas utilities. Rudden's Cost of Service Study analyses are based upon output from the Rudden models. This service is provided inclusive to the costs of our engagements. In addition, if a client wishes to purchase the model software for their own use, we have two pricing options from which to choose. Option One provides the software to the client, free of charge. Training and installation are additional. An accompanying License restricts the use of this model to client's employees and/or Rudden consultants. The client is not permitted to modify the software. Option Two provides the software to the client for a fee. Training and installation are additional. An accompanying License provides unrestricted use of the model on the client's systems for an additional fee. The client is not permitted to modify the software or transfer the software to any other party. |
